Aligning Capital With Capability

Our mission is to break down barriers to commercial-grade development finance and drive housing supply through smarter, accessible property development. By combining deep construction expertise with sophisticated financial structures, we enable ordinary property owners and investors to unlock the full potential of their land and participate in scalable projects that would otherwise be out of reach — delivering greater value, long-term economic impact, and calm dominance in outcomes.

Our Story

Australia is experiencing one of the most severe housing supply challenges in its history. Rapid population growth, escalating construction costs, and tighter lending conditions have made property development increasingly difficult for everyday owners and investors. Despite strong demand for quality housing, the traditional development model remains out of reach—demanding significant capital, specialised expertise, and navigation of complex regulatory and financial frameworks. Montoya Roe is addressing these challenges by engaging owners of off-market properties through joint venture arrangements and institutional finance structures. Our model combines market-value purchasing of the property with significant profit-sharing opportunities, creating a compelling incentive for owners to participate. This approach not only delivers strong financial returns for vendors but also helps bring much-needed housing supply to a market under pressure.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to drive housing supply through smarter, accessible property development. By combining decades of construction experience with innovative financial and delivery structures, we create opportunities for ordinary property owners to unlock the full potential of their land while participating in projects that would otherwise be beyond reach.

Our extensive industry knowledge and network of contacts further de-risk the process. With more than 20 years of experience across construction, planning, and development, Bison has cultivated relationships with key stakeholders across the industry—from local councils and planners through to financiers, contractors, and buyers. This integrated network ensures that every stage of the development lifecycle is managed with precision and accountability.

In addition, Bison’s international buying power gives our projects a unique competitive advantage. Through direct relationships with some of the world’s largest building material manufacturers in China—suppliers that also serve major Australian hardware chains such as Bunnings and Mitre 10—we are able to secure materials at scale and cost efficiencies that are not available to smaller operators. This allows us to protect margins, contain costs, and pass on greater value to our partners.

By rethinking the traditional development model, Bison Property Group is helping to unlock housing supply, reduce risk for property owners, and create profitable, scalable opportunities in a market that desperately needs solutions.
